this article was basically about a girl who applied to a prestigious Beijing University and was rejected. The rejection didn't bother her until she found out that a handful of less qualified male students had been accepted. The article goes on to talk about how Chinese girls are scoring higher and higher on their standardized tests which then is making colleges who want equal boy-girl student bodies to accept less qualified males and or reject the top females.
