T-Mobile Shakes Up Its Service

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/27/technology/t-mobile-unveils-aggressive-phone-pricing-with-no-contracts.html?_r=0&adxnnl=1&ref=business&adxnnlx=1364391044-qZDTcIWiB2FezTn3nIzmRg

In an effort to defeat its competition, TMobile is planning on selling the IPhone cheaper than competition and customers would not, I repeat, would not have to sign a contract. This would mean the IPhone would cost $100 up front but additional payments of $20 per month for two years would be instilled. This plan will also be available with the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Blackberry Z10. IPhone set to be available April 12.

I don't know if this seems like a better plan because people might scour the stores only thinking about paying the $100 and how easy that would be to pay $20 a month to keep the phone, but in reality, it's probably harder to do this than actually paying full price for the phone. I think this is a great way for TMobile to make money, but is it really fair?
