Veterinary Financials

Often, life's choices come with a cost; however, life and death choices come with an even bigger price tag. Robin, my mare that just foaled, coliced Wedneday night which essentially means her intestines got twisted and was rushed to CSU Vet hospital at 7am Thursday morning. My choices were $1500 and she has slim chances of living or upwards of $4500 and she will almost certainly survive. Needless to say, I picked life. Today, mare and foal are happily eating and playing together and that is priceless.
