A major retail, Rue21, targets secondary markets that are in rural areas and small towns. They currently operate 750 stores and believe they can support up to 1,000 stores. Rue21 also uses a different strategy when it comes to marketing; they do not have a big ad budget and rely mainly on word-by-mouth. Onto the finical part, opening a new store normally calls for an initial investment of $160,000, and within a year you can expect net sales of $900,00 to 1.1 million.
