Teens Struggling to Find Elusive Part-Time Jobs
This article did not surprise me at all. Although I have managed to get a part-time job several times, I was oftentimes competing against other applicants who had college degrees and were 10-20 years older than me. I am glad I have this job experience, as I know friends without job experience who can not get jobs for that reason. It seems like a dumb system, seeing as to get job experience, you need a job.

I completely agree. It makes absolutely no sense that you have to have the experience before you get the job when to get the experience you have to have a job. Most people just don't have access to these experiences.
