Budget guidelines issued for civil society groups

Civil groups working in partner with the Government and seeking Government funding have new regulations this year. They can have partnering agreements with over a dozen government departments and agencies. They must have their budget for this upcoming year ready to go and now must have budgets for the past 5 years. They also must have an on going project to be eligeble. Last year these civil groups received $1.8 trillion from the government. I can only hope that these new measures are seeking to cut that amount and will give the money to only deserving groups.
