Car accidents are the leading cause of death for teens in Washington. At the same time, fewer high schools are offering drivers education because of budget cuts.
Writers notice that 6 hours of driving with an instructor is not enough to get them the training that they need to get on the road.
I strongly disagree. Before they made the laws of driving with an instructor, kids learned to drive from their parents. Parents want to have these kids, or have made the mistake of having them, so they should be responsible for teaching them the ways.
My dad taught me to drive, and I drive just fine.
