From bad to poor: state's poor grade for smoking cessation improve slightly

South Dakota improved its failing grade for smoking cessation efforts, but still earned an "F" for its tabacco-prevention spending and control efforts due to state budget cuts.

The cigarette tax is at $1.53 and that earned them a "C"

South Dakota should be spending $11.3 million on control and prevention efforts, but only spent $5.2 million on the programs this year.

You can really tell how the money is affecting everyone's health.
